Severely ill landlord cheated: imprisonment for police officers

A 42-year-old police officer who was suspended from duty was sentenced to three years and three months imprisonment on Friday in Würzburg for drug offenses and fraud in a particularly serious case with a loss of at least 54,000 euros. The fact that he would no longer wear a police uniform had already been established for the officer, who was working at the Tauberbischofsheim Police Department until the temporary suspension in October 2017, before the verdict of the lay judge was pronounced. The 42-year-old’s victim: his terminally ill landlord.
