As a result of rainfall, the river levels in the basins will rise today, the Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) reports on its official website. As a result of runoff, there will be increases in the levels in the lower reaches of the main rivers from the Eastern White Sea Basin. Water levels will be below thresholds for concern.
In the next three days, no significant changes are expected or there will be a decline.
According to the weather forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, today the country will be cloudy with rain. The rains are expected to weaken tomorrow, in Eastern Bulgaria and the extreme southern regions – until around noon, and by the evening they will stop almost throughout the country, the institute announced today.
