Munich (dpa/lby) – The storm front has not yet completely passed Bavaria: “Antonia”, the third storm low in the past few days, should show up again in the course of the morning, according to the German Weather Service (DWD).

It could still be occasionally stormy in the lowlands during the day. A cold front is currently crossing the Bavarian Alps, so that hurricane-like gusts of up to 120 kilometers per hour could still occur at the highest altitudes, it was said. During the day “Antonia” moves on due to a cold front from the southeast – the situation calms down.

According to previous assessments by the responsible police authorities, there were traffic disruptions in large parts of Bavaria last night due to fallen trees – according to the current status, no one was injured.
