A strong wind warning is issued when the instantaneous wind speed is expected to exceed 26m per second, and the maximum instantaneous wind speed at each point on this day was 32.5m in Gosan, 26.4m in Witse Oreum, 25.7m in Woljeong, and 21m in Jeju City.

Accordingly, Korean Air Flight 1105 from Gimpo, which was scheduled to arrive at Jeju Airport at 1:55 pm on this day, was canceled, and as of 9 pm, 17 domestic arrivals and 24 domestic departures were canceled.

Among the canceled domestic flights, flights to Wonju, Gunsan, Gwangju, and Yeosu were canceled due to heavy snow or strong winds in the region.

For the same reason, four flights were diverted to Jeju Airport.

As for international flights, two round-trip flights to Hangzhou, China were canceled.

On this day, a total of 473 flights were scheduled to operate at Jeju Airport, including 434 domestic round-trip flights, 11 international arrivals, and 10 departures.

Of these, only 167 domestic arrivals and 159 departures, and 10 international arrivals and 8 departures have been operated so far.
