- Flood zone surveillance

“It is practically for the entire state of New Jersey and Connecticut,” added the meteorologist.
It also recommends that you think about the weaknesses that your area of residence may have in the face of possible flooding, for example: poor drainage or accumulation of garbage in sewers.
- Coastal flood warning
It covers the entire Long Island area and the coasts of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. It will be in effect until 6:00 pm on Monday.
1:15 a.m. is expected to be the storm’s strongest time in the tri-state area. And by 4:45 am it will give a break, but it could increase by 8:15 am.
Until 12:00 noon on Monday.

“We are going to see the probability of especially strong winds, regarding the northwest side of New Jersey and in the vicinity of New York City,” explained Lucrecia Borchardt.
In case of gusts of wind, be alert for possible falling trees or power lines.
Likewise, visibility is reduced to less than three and up to two miles, due to the presence of fog. It is typically ten miles and these conditions could remain the same until 12:00 on Monday.
