Around 1:30 p.m., the National Directorate of Meteorology issued a new meteorological warning to indicate that storm cores continue to develop over the coverage area, with a high probability of generating severe weather phenomena punctually during the afternoon of this Tuesday. 09.
Moderate to strong rain with thunderstorms, occasional hail and strong gusts of wind are expected. The phenomenon will be rapid in development and short-lived.
The coverage area will be composed of the south, east and northeast of the Eastern region

Affected departments
The storm will affect northeastern San Pedro, Caazapá, Itapúa, northern Misiones, southern Paraguarí, central and southern Alto Paraná, northeastern Amambay, eastern Canindeyú, according to the alert issued Tuesday at 2:51 pm.
The heat will continue
On the other hand, according to the forecast issued, extreme temperatures will persist until Wednesday with maximums of up to 40 ºC.
Starting on Thursday, there will be a slight decrease in the maximum temperatures, as they will be around 35 °C.
