On Wednesday morning, a cold front will pass through the region, leading to a rapid drop in temperatures. This shift in wind direction will cause temperatures to plummet from the 50s and 60s around midnight to the 20s by lunchtime on Wednesday.
Residents should also be prepared for minor snow accumulation along and west of U.S. 131 throughout the day on Wednesday. Winter Weather Advisories will be in effect for several counties, including Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Allegan, Barry, Ottawa, Kent, Muskegon, Oceana, and Newaygo.
