A system will keep mostly cloudy conditions over New England for the remainder of Friday and into the weekend, while severe storm warnings were issued for southern New Hampshire Friday afternoon.
The current alert is for Southeast Hillsborough County and Southwest Rockingham County until 6:50 p.m.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue Friday afternoon and evening. In general, rainfall amounts will be less than a quarter of an inch, but within thunderstorms, localized areas such as Worcester, Bristol County, western Plymouth County, and the Cape may receive higher totals approaching to half an inch. As the day draws to a close, the showers will gradually lessen.
Saturday will see a gradual dispersal of clouds, allowing temperatures to rise to the high 70s.
Sunday promises sunnier skies and warmer air, resulting in high temperatures in the 80s across much of the region with dry conditions prevailing.
