Severe Flooding and Landslides in Slovenia and Austria: Three Dead, Dam Bursts

The large amounts of rainfall have led to floods, landslides and power cuts in both Slovenia and Austria. In Slovenia, several areas are isolated due to flooded roads and bridges.

Three found dead

Slovenia’s environmental agency has issued a red flood warning for the capital Ljubljana and the cities of Maribor and Celje. Sirens warning residents of flooding went off in the three cities on Friday.
