A severe accident between two trucks and two cars in the area of the village of Vaglevtsi temporarily closed the Pass of the Republic. The accident happened tonight around 22:00, the Ministry of Interior in Veliko Tarnovo announced. According to initial information, there is one dead and one injured citizen.
Teams of the Traffic Police redirected cars through the Shipka Pass, and trucks waited on the spot.
An inspection is being carried out at the scene. The reasons for the accident are being clarified.
