Accident between two trucks at the beginning of the election day in Plovdiv region. The collision happened at 8 o’clock at km 119 of the Trakia Motorway, near the fork for Benkovski, in the direction of the capital, the Regional Road Administration announced. One truck crashed into the guardrail as a result of the impact.
The police in Plovdiv clarified that a truck with Bulgarian registration suddenly stopped in the left lane due to nausea of the person behind the wheel. However, he was hit in the back by another truck with Serbian registration.

According to initial information, the drivers of the powerful vehicles were not seriously injured. Police and an ambulance arrived on the scene.
The traffic on the overtaking lane was stopped because the truck blocked the road, but it was passing on the active and emergency lane.
Drivers are urged to drive with caution and appropriate speed.
