A large explosion in a warehouse in Avonmouth, near Bristol, England, claimed several casualties, advance a Sky News.
“Avonmouth, Southmead, Yate, Patchway, Kingswood and Temple teams are participating. We can confirm that there are several victims at the scene, ”said a spokesman for the Avonmouth fire department, who was called to the scene at 11:22 am. The firefighters also confirmed the existence of “a great explosion”.
People working near the site said to The Guardian who heard a big explosion around 11:20 am. The Southwest Ambulance Service confirmed that this was a “serious incident” and that it sent vehicles.
The Avonmouth Recycling Center said, however, that it had to close “a location near” the port.
