Before donating blood
In the hours leading up to your blood donation, it is advisable to drink a minimum of 500 ml of water or juice and make sure you eat well, while avoiding fatty foods. To facilitate collection, wear loose clothing and sleeves that can be rolled up above the elbow.
You must also have in your possession your donor card or an identity document.
Very strict selection criteria have been established if you wish to donate blood. For more information on these criteria or for more information, visit the organization’s website.
