Several tornadoes were reported Sunday in Mississippi and Tennessee, where they left damage with no reported injuries so far.
A front of strong storms swept through the state Sunday afternoon and overnight. At the last minute, a “tornado emergency” was declared in and around Tupelo. Meteorologists urged the population to seek shelter.
