Morelia, Mich.- The rain that is falling on the capital city again this Thursday is causing damage to neighborhoods due to puddles and flooding.
Lázaro Cárdenas Avenue was one of the affected areas today, with the water rising and entering commercial establishments and homes. Other affected areas are Ventura Puente Avenue, García de León Boulevard, the exit to Quiroga and Camelinas.
Among the damages, a fallen tree is reported on Francisco J. Múgica Avenue.

The strong storm has reached areas of the metropolitan municipality of Tarímbaro, where settlements such as Galaxia, Metrópolis and Puerta del Sol have been experiencing flooding for weeks.
In the case of the capital of Michoacán, damage was also reported yesterday in several neighborhoods, including, and to a greater extent, Carlos Salazar, where several families had to be evacuated by boats by members of the Municipal Civil Protection.
According to this agency, the alert is maintained to address contingencies in several points of the state capital, especially in the southern and western areas.
