Several people have been shot at a shopping center in Copenhagen, according to Danish police.
VG has spoken to several people on the spot who say they have heard shots.
– Shots were fired and several people were injured. We work on site. People at Fields must wait for the police, and everyone else must stay away, confirms Copenhagen police on Twitter.

The police in Copenhagen tweet that they are “massively” present at the shopping center. The police have so far not responded to VG’s inquiries.

– We went to Field’s center. Suddenly we began to hear three or four shots in the air. Everyone started running out, says Awais Akhtar to VG.
Tina Aronsen (25) from Tønsberg was about to order food from the restaurant Gorms together with her friend when she heard gunshots.
– In what we are going to order, we hear maybe four or five shots before it became quiet. Then there were three or four more. No one reacted first, then we heard people screaming and started running away, she says to VG.
She says they saw people running on the second floor of the mall.
– We could see people running on the second floor. Then we ran into the restaurant again. It took two minutes before someone who worked there said that everyone had to run around the corner and get as far away as possible, because there was shooting inside the center.
Aronsen says they can see a helicopter flying over the place.
Odd Einar Hellebust was near the mall when he heard what looked like shots. His girlfriend and his son are inside the mall.
– My boyfriend took our son and locked himself in a warehouse to get to safety. There are more and more heavily armed police, he says to VG.
Pictures from the place show several police cars outside, and that the roads around the shopping center are closed. There are also armed police in the area.
The mall is near a concert arena where the popular artist Harry Styles will play on Sunday night. Kastrup Airport is also close by.
