Several people are said to have been shot and killed in what is described as a very serious incident in the English city of Plymouth, Sky News reports.

Several were killed or injured. It reports Devon & Cornwall Police on Twitter. Police have set up roadblocks and are asking people to stay away from the place.
According to one Twitter message from MP Johnny Mercer, the suspect is “not on the run”, and the incident is not terror-related.
The police have not yet provided information about what happened, but according to unconfirmed reports, a suspect has been shot by the police.
The police in the city have asked the residents to stay indoors.
The incident happened in an area of the city called Keyham on Thursday night.
The ambulance service has moved out with several ambulances and ambulance planes, at the same time as there are a number of police cars on site. Some roads in the city are also blocked.
