Many people have been fined for not respecting the Covid-19 measures during barbecues organized on Saturday evening, confirmed the Luxembourg Prosecutor’s Office this Sunday morning. In one of these rallies, three repeat offenders were deprived of their liberty. Heard during the night, they were relaxed. For them, there will be legal consequences.
A first barbecue organized at La Roche brought together nine people. It was a birthday party for the 18 year old family member. Among the guests, 3 people were repeat offenders, already warned for non-compliance with the rules related to COVD-19. The three repeat offenders were deprived of their liberty. Heard during the night by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, they were released. However, there will be legal consequences for them.
A second barbecue, organized in Marche, brought together young people. There too, three people were repeat offenders for non-compliance with the measures related to the health crisis, including one for whom it was already the third offense of the same kind. All participants were fined, with legal action to be taken on the three repeat offenders.
Finally, a person also participating in a barbecue in the province of Luxembourg had a quad accident when he returned. She was taken to the hospital.
