Several people are trapped in an attraction at Orlando’s ICON park after a power outage.
The incident occurred on Saturday night at the Ferris wheel attraction on New Year’s Eve.
Rescue personnel have now begun evacuating the passengers trapped in the Ferris wheel, according to a statement.
“The Noria lost power Saturday night and we are working with the Orange County Fire Department to safely evacuate customers,” the Orange County Fire Department said.
This is the latest accident at the Orlando amusement park in recent years, including the death of 14-year-old Tire Sampson earlier this year, who fell from the Orlando Free Fall attraction in March.
