The closure applies in the first instance from 11 pm on Wednesday to 10 am on Thursday, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration writes on its website.
Dovrefjell is located in both the Inland and Trøndelag.
The E6 at Kvænangsfjellet in Troms and Finnmark is also closed due to the risk of avalanches. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration will present a new assessment on Thursday at 12 noon. County road 889 Snefjord – Havøysund in Måsøy is also closed.
At the mountain crossings between east and west, the E16 over Filefjell is open, while there is column driving over E134 Haukelifjell and national road 52 Hemsedalsfjellet.

At 00:23, the road traffic center East informs that national road 15 Strynefjellet is also closed. A new assessment will be made at 10 am on Thursday morning.
