Several Kurzeme family doctors are awarded honorary certificates for good vaccination against Covid-19 / Day

Honorary articles have been awarded to a total of three family doctors. The honorary award for the best patient vaccination coverage in the family doctor’s practice was presented to the family doctor Baiba Neiberga, in whose practice 60% of patients were vaccinated against Covid-19. Malda Dubra, a general practitioner, was awarded an honorary diploma for the best vaccination coverage of senior and chronic disease patients in the practice of a family doctor, in whose practice 77% of patients were vaccinated against Covid-19.

Also, for the most vaccinated patients against Covid-19 in the general practitioner’s practice, honorary diplomas were awarded to family doctor Inese Petrova, in whose practice 1307 patients were vaccinated against Covid-19, family doctor Lilita Bētiņa, in whose practice 1294 patients were vaccinated against Covid-19, and family doctor Daiga Leimane , in which 1291 patients were vaccinated against Covid-19.

In its turn, a total of six GP practices received thanks from Liepāja City Municipality Council, which have achieved the coverage of the highest practice patients’ vaccinations against Covid-19, providing over 50% vaccination coverage.

Thus, gratitude was given to Olita Ševčuka’s family doctor’s practice, where 58% of patients were vaccinated, Zaiga Stepko’s family doctor’s practice, where 52% of patients were vaccinated, Anita Brauna’s family doctor’s practice, where 52% of patients were vaccinated, Inese Cēbere’s family doctor’s practice 52% of patients were vaccinated, Violeta Celma’s family doctor’s practice, which vaccinated 51% of patients, and Justine Rudzite’s practice at SIA “Dr. Rudzites doctor’s practice”, where 51% of patients were vaccinated.

At the conference, specialists from the Center for Disease Prevention and Control, the State Council of Immunization, Liepāja Regional Hospital and the Latvian Association of Psychotherapists together with Kurzeme family doctors and GP assistants discussed current issues related to the spread and vaccination of Covid-19 infection and shared experience with work in a pandemic.

The conference discussed topics such as the duration of immunity after vaccination or illness, prognosis in the autumn depending on the pace of vaccination, the organization of vaccination work in the family doctor’s practice and statistics.

Conferences for GPs and physician assistants are organized by the Ministry of Health, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control and the National Health Service.
