While gradual deconfinement is looming this Monday in France, the police had to intervene to put an end to several gatherings and parties this weekend, in a still tense health context.
In Paris, a rave party bringing together a hundred people took place in the park of Bercy in the 12th arrondissement. The security forces wiped projectile jets during the evacuation of the site. Three people were arrested and taken into police custody, including the organizer of the evening. The sound equipment was seized and 34 people were fined.
A rave party still underway near Dijon
In the Côte d’Or, in Couchey, near Dijon 400 to 500 young people gathered this Saturday morning in an abandoned sawmill. Many gendarmes assisted part of the evening by the national police were on site to monitor the surroundings of the vast warehouse. The rave party ended this Sunday, May 2, reports a judicial source.
