Space Christmas in Stockholm was marked by numerous explosions and shootings.

On New Year’s Eve, a police operation is underway in the Rågsved district of southern Stockholm. At 03.34 the police received several reports after an explosive charge exploded in an apartment building in Rågsved. One door has extensive damage and there are splinters that have gotten into both the window panes and the doors.
No injuries were reported, but area residents awoke to the blast.
– There was a terrible sound, it was like the earth was shaking. At first I thought it was rockets or gunfire, but it sounded so loud it must have been worse than that, says a resident The evening paper.
Two murders of artists

According to Swedish media, the spiral of violence may have links to two murders of two Swedish rap artists:
- At the address of the night explosion lives a man who is linked to several incidents of violence after the murder of Swedish rapper Nils “Einár” Grønberg (19), according to information from Aftonbladet. The 19-year-old was shot and killed in Stockholm last fall.
- Six days ago, on Christmas Day, a rapper turned 30 found shot and killed at Rinkeby in Stockholm. Killed the man was suspected of having participated in the murder of artist ‘Einar’ in October last year, according to Swedish media.
The murder of ‘Einar’ was described by eyewitnesses as an execution. The 19-year-old was involved in an ongoing trial against him a crime network with “large capital of violence”.

On Monday and Tuesday there was a knock on a door in Enskededalen, south of Stockholm. Police suspect the target was a man identified, but not officially suspected, in the murder of rapper ‘Einar’. No people were injured.
On Wednesday night, there were two shootings in Gubbängen, Stockholm. No people were injured. Two young boys were arrested over one of the incidents, according to Expressen. Minutes after the second shooting, an explosion occurred at a nearby entrance. Linked to the address is a man who is part of the criminal community who is suspected of being behind the murder of ‘Einar’.
And on the night of New Year’s Day, it struck again, in Rågsved. The address may be linked to a man who was investigated by the police after “Einar’s” kidnapping and later murder.
