According to the INFP, on March 20, 2023, at 23:49:25 (Romanian local time), a weak earthquake with a magnitude of 3.7 ml occurred in the seismic zone of Vrancea, Buzau, at a depth of 140 km.
The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 56km SE of Sfantu-Gheorghe, 57km NW of Buzau, 58km E of Brasov, 68km W of Focsani, 70km N of Ploiesti, 97km NE of Targoviste
