Police officers arrested a 27-year-old on Friday morning (10th) in Offenbach after allegedly damaging several vehicles.
Witnesses called the police at around 2:10 a.m. and reported about a rioter who was supposed to act on several parked cars in Marienstraße at the 70th house number. Shortly after the report, the law enforcement officers arrested the 27-year-old suspect, to whom the personal description previously given applied.
The officers later found at least five cars, all with deep scratches; Property damage around 2,500 euros.
The man without a permanent address now has to answer criminally for suspected damage to property. To make matters worse, there was still an open arrest warrant against him, so he is now in a correctional facility.
The police are now looking for more witnesses to the crime, who are asked to report to the Offenbach police station on 069 / 8098-5100.
