?The mayor of Carhaix, Christian Troadec, recently announced the holding of a “big meeting for the future of the hospital”, on Tuesday May 24, at 6 p.m., at the Karaez Park room, in Carhaix. The elected official thus wishes to revive the vigilance committee, but also the hospital defense committee as well as the group of pregnant women and invites all hospital staff and the population to take part in it.
Calls from NPA and Nupes
The New Anti-Capitalist Party, through the voice of Michel Carrio, affirms that it wants to hold its full place there, “like the LCR 14 years ago”, and calls for many to participate in this first meeting, “in the face of the dangers weighing on the establishment despite the denials of Ferrand and Véran”.
For her part, Mélanie Thomin, candidate for the Nupes (New Popular Ecological and Social Union) in the legislative elections, in the sixth constituency, believes that “the sustainability of the Carhaix hospital depends on an in-depth reform of the hospital, its governance, and its financing”, and announces that it intends to take part, with its team, in this meeting of Tuesday, May 24. “I resolutely support the mobilization of staff, their representatives and the population,” she says.
