Several buses have returned to diesel. The Minister believes that the policy works well.

Bus companies in several counties have returned to regular diesel due to a tax on biodiesel. As long as sales of biodiesel increase, it is fine, says Climate Minister Sveinung Rotevatn (V).

This weekend, Aftenposten wrote that Ruter wants to stop using biodiesel. The company would rather fill ordinary diesel at the tanks on buses in Akershus. This is to save money.

While diesel is extracted from crude oil, biodiesel is made from organic wood such as wood and food waste. It gives lower emissions.
