EA has decided to remove a bunch of older Battlefield games from digital game stores. The games Battlefield 1943 and Bad Company 1 and 2 will be removed from places like the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live on April 28.
The game’s online servers will also be shut down, but it won’t happen until December 8th. Now there aren’t too many people who play these games anymore, but the multiplayer mode in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was great, so it’s a bit of a shame for people who still want to play it online.
The offline mode in the Bad Company games will of course still be playable, but then you have to make sure to get the game before it is removed on April 28.
