Amnesty International, Cimade, a total of 4 associations that help asylum seekers are up against Adelphité by CVH, the organization responsible for supporting refugees. They denounce a deterioration of reception conditions for six months.

For six months, the association Adelphite by CVH was chosen by the OFI (French Agency for Immigration and Integration) to take care of the public market for the first reception of asylum seekers in the Occitanie region, in the cities of Toulouse, Montauban, Rodez, Montpellier and Perpignan.
An essential mission for vulnerable asylum seekers
The structure is now responsible for offering them a domicile and helping them in their procedures with the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons or for the opening of their social rights.
Problem, according to Amnesty internationalADE, Cimade and Laprem, there has been a significant deterioration in the service provided to asylum seekers since January.
There are hiccups in mail delivery. They are domiciled but the structure does not always notify them when they receive letters.

Serious consequences
When OFPRA (French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons) summons them for an interview with a view to their asylum application, they would not show up, because they would not have had the information.
The four organizations also denounce a lack of training for employees on reception and follow-up.
They therefore decided to seize the director of the French Office for Immigration and Integration, copying the defender of rights.
