‘Seven times goodbye’, an atypical musical for broken hearts

What is love? Where is it found? the love is for ever? These are some of the questions that Alan Estrada, Vince Miranda and Salvador Suárez wanted to ask in their new musical ‘Seven Times Goodbye’.

Digital Excelsior attended the pre-premiere for Stella Artois and we discovered that not a typical musical and although there is love here, there is no ‘happily ever after’… and love is sometimes like that.

It is a 100% original musical. It fills me with pride to have worked for several years and finally be able to present it to an audience. It is a work done with a broken heart”, said Alan before starting the show.

The play stars Fernanda Castillo, Gustavo Egelhaaf and César Enriquez and talks about two things: how each person experiences love and broken hearts.

The story unfolds in an atypical way, yes with music, but not with hidden soundtracks, nor with pre-recorded soundtracks, but with musicians on stage who from time to time are part of this great journey.

seven times goodbye is narrated by ‘L’amore’ (César Enriquez), a personification of love, who recounts in detail the ups and downs of a couple, he and she, after seven years of relationship.

From those little absurd discussions to the lies and secrets that we sometimes hide so as not to harm the person we love the most.

The couple will seek to recover the spark of their relationship with seven strange dates in which they will recreate their first encounters.

The work, which generates many questions, is a montage from which each person could take something different. It is not a romantic comedy, although it seems that way.

Seven times goodbye is presented from Friday to Sunday at the Ramíro Jiménez Theater, HERE you can buy your tickets.
