Two cars and a lorry are involved in an accident on Løten, Innlandet police district reports.
The accident occurred when a female driver tried to pass a lorry, on the left side of the lorry, in a right turn.
– Then you can imagine how much visibility you have, says operations manager Kristian Bjaanes to TV 2.
During the overtaking, an oncoming car came. The oncoming car tried to swerve away, but was unsuccessful.
In the collision between the two cars and the lorry, the female driver was injured.
– She is a well-grown woman, says Bjaanes.
She has been taken to hospital with back pain.
The passenger in her car escaped unhurt from the accident. So did the four people in the oncoming car, as well as the lorry driver.
The female driver is now charged with illegally overtaking a lorry in a right-hand curve, Innlandet police district informs. The driver’s license has been confiscated.
