During a collision between a cargo ship and a rowing boat in Valkenburg (South Holland), seven people ended up in the water. One of them was taken out of the water by people on the side and resuscitated. The six others managed to get out of the water themselves, reports a spokesman for the fire service.
The collision was on the Oude Rijn in South Holland. The victim who needed to be resuscitated was taken to hospital. It is not known how they are doing. Three others were taken to hospital for a check-up.
How the accident could have happened is not yet known.
