The police arrested seven people in Vroomshoop in Overijssel during a raid on a drugs laboratory. The lab was located in a large company building, which also houses a gym. It is not yet known what drugs are involved. It is also not clear how much has been found.
The raid on the building on the Afrikalaan was part of an ongoing investigation. Because agents did not know what to expect, specialized units were deployed. A house in the neighboring Beerzerveld was also searched.
A police spokesman was unable to say whether the drug lab had been discovered at the gym or in another company.
The suspects arrested are a 57-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman from the municipality of Ommen, two men (aged 24 and 33) from Arnhem, a 56-year-old man from Vroomshoop and two men (aged 32 and 39) without known domicile or residence.
