Seven Arrested for Circulating Mockery of Security Officers in Riyadh Shop

Jeddah: Riyadh police revealed that they have arrested seven people for circulating a video in a shop that makes a comic sense of the jobs of security officers. Five natives and two non-residents were arrested. The arrested expatriates are citizens of Chad and Yemen.

The media spokesperson of Riyadh Police pointed out that they published the comedy scene on social media sites. The police spokesperson described the accused as saying that they wanted to get more people to see the footage they posted and spread the word.

The spokesman said that they have been arrested and legal action taken against them. In a video that has been widely circulated on social networking sites in Saudi Arabia, several people have appeared comically impersonating security personnel. Immediately the authorities woke up and found the group behind this and arrested them and made them undergo legal proceedings.

It was filmed in a commercial shop in Riyadh.
