After two years, the case between Myth of Empires developer Angela Game has come to an end Ark: Survival Evolved developer Snail Games. The two parties have reached a settlement and will now even work together.
In late 2021, Angela Game was accused of copyright infringement. After all, the studio consists of former employees of Snail Games and they were convinced that Angela Game had used Ark’s source code to develop Myth of Empires. Angela Game then went to court.
Now, two years later, a settlement has been reached outside of court. There is therefore no statement about who was ultimately right and in the settlement all this is left somewhat open, as is the case when a settlement is reached.
The fact is that Myth of Empires will be available for sale again from early 2024 and that Ark publisher Studio Wildcard will even help to relaunch the game. In addition, Snail Games will also assist in the development of DLC and expansions for Myth of Empires.
