American TV actor and producer Seth Green (48) was recently a guest on the popular YouTube show “Good Mythical Morning”. There he recalled an event from almost 40 years ago, which he still remembers particularly well, and which he involved comedian Bill Murray (72).
The Danes report it BT
Green was nine when he was a guest on the “Saturday Night Live” crew, and Murray himself was to be the host that night.
Sharing glimpses of life after diagnosis
– He saw me sitting on the arm of his chair and was upset that I was sitting in his seat, says Green.
The nine-year-old was sternly told it was the comedian’s seat, and even his mother said maybe he should move out. Green, on the other hand, remembers never feeling so violated before and asked Murray if he was really so rude and stupid as to order a nine-year-old to get up from his seat.
Murray responded by picking up Green and holding him over the bin as he said “the garbage goes to the bin”.
– I screamed and waved my arms so I hit him in the testicles. She threw me in the garbage can and it overturned. I was horrified. I ran away and hid under the table in my dressing room and cried.
It created a storm
The actor explains that after the accident he no longer wanted to take part in the program, but that, among others, Eddie Murphy (61) – who was also part of the “Saturday Night Live” gang – nevertheless convinced him. .
Green hasn’t met Murray since it happened, and while it was a scary situation, he has nothing but good things to say about the 72-year-old.
– It is important to say that I love Bill Murray’s work and see him as one of the most important cultural icons we have. But when I was nine he was very rude.
Bill Murray did not personally comment on the matter.
