OVIEDO, 21 Nov. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Principality’s Health Service (Sespa) opened this Monday the self-appointment system exclusively for people over the age of 65 who have not yet received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Through this procedure, those who refuse prophylaxis or cannot be contacted by telephone have the possibility to request an appointment using a form.
People born before 1957 – this year included – can select the date and time to receive the immunization at the link https://ciges.asturias.es/after selecting the option ‘Covid-19 vaccination self-nomination’.
This tool will generate appointments as agendas are filled. For this reason, the Ministry of Health advises interested parties to repeat the process if they are unable to register at first, as vacancies will gradually be created.
The Health Service will offer users the possibility of being vaccinated against flu at the same time. Sespa continues to mention the rest of the risk groups to protect them from both respiratory viruses.
In addition to the self-appointment, people for whom this protection against the new coronavirus is indicated can request the vaccine by calling 984 100 400.
