Serka BP Hit-and-Run Briptu Andry because he is sleepy

Personnel from the TNI Serka BP ran into Brigadier Andry Budi Wibowo in Pondok Ranggon, Cipayung, East Jakarta. Serka BP allegedly drowsy and unconscious has hit Brigadier Andry to death.

“It is suspected that this action was carried out by Serka BP accidentally and was in a drowsy condition,” said Pgs. Wakapendam Jaya Lt. Col. Inf. Audy Kumontoy in a statement to detikcom, Friday (18/9/2020).

Audy said, when the accident occurred on Thursday (17/9) in the morning, Serka BP was on her way home from work. BP was driving at that time.

“So he crashed, he felt hit, he felt like he was running over something, but he was not aware, you know,” he said.

Bambang only found out that he had hit the victim after officers from the police came to his house on Thursday (17/9) afternoon. At that time the police explained about the accident that killed Briptu Andry.

“He doesn’t know, he knows he made a mistake when the police came to his house, right. The police came to his house, he just found out, he crashed like that,” he said.

Furthermore, Audy said, at this time Serka BP was secured at Pomdam Jaya. Serka BP is still undergoing screening for further research.

“Currently Serka BP is in the context of deepening and investigating the consequences of traffic that he allegedly did so that Brigadier Andri BW died on the spot,” he said.

Briptu Andry Budi Wibowo was found dead covered in blood at Jalan Sapi Dairy, Pondok Ranggon, Cipayung, East Jakarta on Thursday (17/9) in the morning. The victim died with partially peeled skin, broken legs and collisions to the head.
