During a stabbing at the Agatha Christiesingel in Southeast, a man was seriously injured tonight. The victim was resuscitated and taken to hospital.

The victim was found on the street. A trauma team was also called in for the relief work. After the resuscitation, he was transferred to the hospital.

Images of the incident are circulated on social media. One of the videos shows two people arguing on the street and the victim being stabbed. He collapses moments later. Shortly afterwards, a car drives away from the crime scene. In addition to the victim, another person is also left behind.
In one of the other videos, a person sitting in a car shouts, “Men are going to die (here) in the Bims (Bijlmer).” He then points his camera at the victim. Honking cars can be heard in the background.
The police say they are aware of the images. The police are investigating on the spot. Witnesses who have not yet spoken to agents are requested to call 0900-8844.
