In Ulvenhout in North Brabant, a man was seriously injured after a stabbing in a house. The victim is in serious condition, a police spokesman said.
An ambulance and an air ambulance were called to attend to him. He was then transferred to a hospital in the region.
The exact cause of the stabbing incident is not known, but according to the spokesperson it does not appear to be a robbery.
The police have deployed several units to track down the perpetrator.
