No one was arrested after a nasty incident of violence in central Oslo.

A man is wounded in the upper body and the injuries are described as serious after a violent accident at Storgata in Oslo. He is not expected to be injured in life threatening, police write in an update. The injuries were initially described as critical.
A man is wounded in the upper body, injured by a knife or a sharp object. The man was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
– We have descriptions of three people who escaped the scene. We don’t know if they have anything to do with crime, but we want to get in touch with them, operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen tells VG.
He says it is too early to tell if there is a relationship between the victim and the perpetrator or the people or if the incident is blind violence.
Gulbrandsen says it is currently unclear whether there were direct witnesses to the incident, the police have isolated a fairly large area and are working on protecting the tracks at the scene.
According to NTB, the injured person is a man in his forties.
The incident took place in Stoorgata between Bernt Ankers gate and Hammersborggata in central Oslo.
The police want information from any witnesses after the accident.
Shortly before 07:00, the police report that the on-site investigation has been completed. The case is being investigated further.
