Serious Traffic Accident on B38 in Mörlenbach: Motorcyclist Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

A serious traffic accident occurred on the B38 in Mörlenbach on Thursday morning (7th).

According to initial findings, a 31-year-old motorcyclist from Fürth drove around 7.30 a.m. on the federal road from Weinheim towards Rimbach when he collided with a crossing car in the junction area. As a result of the collision, the man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. According to the current state of knowledge, the 39-year-old driver from Mörlenbach was slightly injured.

At the request of the public prosecutor’s office in Darmstadt, an expert was commissioned to reconstruct the course of the accident. The vehicles were also secured for this purpose. The area of ​​the accident site was closed until around 11 a.m. for the duration of the accident recording.

As part of the further investigations, important eyewitnesses to the course of the accident are also being sought. They are asked to report to the Heppenheim police station on 06252/7060.
