A little less driving skill would have been enough and quite a few families today could do nothing but mourn. As we have already reported, Lukáš Langmajer (42), Lucie Zedníčková (54), Eva Decastelo (44) and Libor Jeník went to Silesia on Saturday to perform two performances and miraculously survived a serious traffic accident in Brno in relative health. Police: We know who the culprit is
Lukáš Langmajer (42), Lucie Zedníčková (54), Eva Decastelo (44) and Libor Jeník got into a big mess on Saturday when they inadvertently became involved in a serious traffic accident in a Peugeot. “Police officers on Saturdayat after 4:00 p.m. they investigated a three-vehicle traffic accident on the 193rd kilometer of the D1 highway. They were BMW and Peugeot cars and a Volvo truck. According to our knowledge, the BMW driver crashed into the guardrails, then into the truck, and then into the Peugeot. The accident was apparently caused by the BMW driver, this is a violation of the Road Traffic Act, a failure to adjust the driving speed,” Brno police spokesman Bohumil Malášek told eXtra.cz.
The law expressly states that: “The driver must adjust the driving speed in particular, their capabilities, the characteristics of the vehicle and load, the expected construction and transport technical condition of the road, its category and class, weather conditions and other circumstances that can be foreseen; he may only drive at such a speed that he is able to stop the vehicle at a distance that he can see.“
Lukáš Langmajer saved the day
“The driver of the Bavarian was overtaking the truck, and even though it was raining, he was rolling like crazy. He got a skid and spun it,” our sources close to the investigation previously told us.
“Their hood went up, the airbags went up and it threw them towards that truck. And he (Lukáš Langmajer – editor’s note) he still acted like a pro even though he couldn’t see much and found a loophole that he rode out. He somehow squeezed between that truck and that spinning car and may have saved everyone’s life.” our informants continued to claim.
But the actor himself refused any praise. “I’m not going to be glorified for something that happens every day on the roads and is a very tricky subject. Whether that was the case or not, I wouldn’t see it that way.” he told us briefly, saying that he was glad to get everyone home alive and well.
In addition to the aforementioned police officers, other components of the integrated rescue system also commented on the accident. “It was an accident involving one truck and two cars. One person was injured. No one needed to be rescued. We secured the vehicles against fire and covered the leaked diesel with a sorbent,” said the deputy press spokesman of the fire department, lieutenant Filip Venclovský.
„We treated two men and two women, in all cases, after treatment, we decided that it is possible to leave them in place and it is not necessary to transport them to the hospital. But everyone was properly instructed to seek medical help immediately in case of any problems,” said Michaela Borthová, a Brno paramedic.
