Serious Traffic Accident in Rüsselsheim-Königstädten Leaves Pedestrian with Head Injuries

In Rüsselsheim-Königstädten on 12 May 2023 at around 11:42 a.m. there was a serious traffic accident when a 39-year-old car driver drove down Rathausstrasse in the direction of Bensheimer Strasse and from there turned left onto Bensheimer Strasse in the direction of Adam-Opel- wanted to turn off the road. After the car driver turned left, she collided with an 84-year-old pedestrian, who in turn crossed Bensheimer Straße on the pedestrian crossing there. The pedestrian was knocked over in the collision with the car and suffered serious head injuries. She had to be taken to the clinic in Darmstadt for treatment by the ambulance service. An expert was called in to clarify the exact course of events, and property damage was caused to the car.
