A 19-year-old driver from Scheibbs (Lower Austria) was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Köstendorf (Flachgau) on Thursday evening. A local man overlooked the young woman’s car and crashed into the vehicle.

A 37-year-old Köstendorfer wanted to cross an intersection with his car, but he overlooked the 19-year-old and crashed into the left side of the vehicle without braking. The woman’s car was thrown around and came to a standstill in the middle of the road.
The 19-year-old driver was brought to the Salzburg accident hospital by the Red Cross. Her mother, who was in the passenger seat, was unharmed – as was the driver involved in the accident. A total write-off has occurred on the car of the woman from Scheibbs. The driver’s car was also severely damaged.
