Right now (1 July) the German Meteorological Support warns of poor weather conditions in the eastern half of Germany. Meteorologists anticipate “large rain in places of up to 25 liters for each square meter in a brief time.”
In accordance to the DWD, “primarily from eastern Saxony to western Pomerania, the threat of significant thunderstorms with heavy rains of up to 40 liters for each square meter, bigger hailstorms and powerful gusts of wind up to 100 km / h boosts”. In the afternoon, new thunderstorms are envisioned with weighty rain, hail and thunderstorms in southeastern Bavaria.
In the late night, showers and thunderstorms are expected to the east. Farmers in the affected places must consequently have their tools and devices dry in time.
