A serious solo accident near Burgas sent a woman to the hospital, the Flagman duty editor reports. The accident happened on the road to Sozopol, shortly before the turnoff for the Rosenets villa area. Around 1:30 p.m., a Mercedes with Burgas registration, driven by a 47-year-old woman, lost traction on the wet road surface and ended up in the roadside ditch on the roof.
The victim is from the village of Rosen. She was taken minutes ago by ambulance to UMBAL-Burgas. Her condition is unknown at this time, but judging by the nature of the crash itself, it is very possible that it is serious. The roof of the car is literally plastered over, and children’s toys are scattered around the car.
However, only the injured woman was traveling in the car. There are police teams at the scene of the accident, who are inspecting the scene in an attempt to determine the reasons why the car started to veer off the road in such a way. It is probably related to driving at a speed that is not in accordance with the road conditions and drifting – at the moment it is still raining in the section and the pavement is wet.
