A single-car accident caused serious injuries to a man and a woman on Wednesday evening in Gaspé.
The two individuals were driving on Forillon Boulevard, in Gaspé, around 5:30 p.m., when their vehicle rolled over.
They had to be pulled out of the cockpit with jaws of life.
The driver, a man in his 30s, sustained injuries but is in stable condition. As for the passenger, a woman in her twenties, her condition is considered more serious. The Sûreté du Québec was unaware of her exact condition at the end of the evening, while the young woman was in the operating room.
We do not know the reason for the lurch, but the first findings suggest that alcohol could be involved.
Route 132 was still closed to traffic at the end of the evening. A detour via Route 197 has been put in place.
