A serious traffic accident occurred on Saturday evening in Bucharest on Regina Maria avenue, between a car and an STB bus, killing five.
According to initial information, the car carrying the five people caught fire shortly after the impact with the STB bus.
Six SMURD teams, two special fire engines and an extrication team arrived at the scene.
Doctors found 3 conscious and 2 unconscious passengers in the car.
Unfortunately, the driver Taxiului did not respond to resuscitation maneuvers and the doctors pronounced him dead.
There were no passengers in the STB bus, the driver was not injured.

“Today, November 19, around 10.44 pm, the Road Brigade was alerted by calling 112 regarding a road accident that occurred in bd. Regina Maria, sector 5.
According to preliminary information, the driver of a taxi traveling in via Regina Maria from via Iunie 11 would have lost control of the direction of travel and would have collided with a bus of the Bucharest Transport Company which was coming from the opposite direction.
The road accident caused the death of the taxi driver, after resuscitation maneuvers had been carried out beforehand, and injured the four passengers in the car, who were transported to hospital for medical treatment.
The on-site investigation is carried out in order to precisely establish the causes and conditions in which the road accident occurred.
