From 1 October 2021, all EU citizens, including Bulgarian citizens traveling to the UK, will not be allowed into the UK if they do not have a valid international passport. This was explained by social integration expert Nishan Jingozyan.

Jingozyan advised all Bulgarians who for some reason will stay in the UK after October 1 with their ID cards to contact the Bulgarian Embassy in London.
“Those Bulgarians who have not applied for the settlement scheme will not have access to services in the UK.
